Since my introduction to dental technology in 1965, I have had the opportunity to participate in many facets of the profession. I have been a denture technician, a CDT, a sole proprietor of a one-man denture lab, the head of a five-person denture department, a salesman, a regional marketing manager for a laboratory "chain", a trouble shooter for a laboratory corporation, a crown and bridge technician, and a general partner (now sole owner) of a multi-person fixed restorative laboratory. I also have a growing "home business" that consists of productivity, communication, operational systems and marketing services for dental laboratories.
