Entry level technician 1971Herbert & Amstead West Palm Bch Fl.Thanks to John Herbert CDT and Ric CDT for giving me a chance and Mike Hennessy CDT... Dynamic Ceramics Apopka Fl.(74). Quintessence Dental Studio Dr. Merlin Wubbenhorst Boca Raton FL.(77).What a teaching environment, Dr, Wubby was as german as they come and was the first in-house relationship as a young technician I experienced. This man was a full fledge artist. Many of his works of art were sold at the Miami art shows. Many of the Palm Beach and Boca Raton Smiles were created with this mans skill and talent. He was also on staff at Palm Bch Jr College Dental Department. His sharing of knowledge, techniques and how too were second to none. It was at this stage I really had lab dust in my blood....(82/88) USN Duty Called....Not really just wanted to see the world and graduated from the naval school of dental technology...(88/99) Joined Dr. Max Weaver in Lake Wales Fl. I ask this doctor why he was not on staff at the New York University college of Dentistry. For 11 years all the teaching of Dr.Wubby and 8 years of practicing and learning my skill came together, Dr. Max Weaver was ready in his practice to do what others only thought about, Full Arch restorations,Full Mouth restorations,Implantology the use of Ramus frames (for dentures) and subperiosteal for CnB....All kind of combinations with RPD's dentures and crown and bridge.Hader bars ERA's. If you needed restored from A to Z we could do it and did for 11 years. The Dr. also studied TMJ and was certified also Head Neck Pain. We had a blast, As a team mate in dentistry I got to see both sides, the office and the lab and share in the bottle of wine the patient presented to us, and to hand the patient a tissue when the tears of joy ran down there checks! All created with metal, plastics and porcelains with the knowledge of a skilled dental technician. Now I want to do it all again with lithium-disilicate and zirconium-oxide-framework. THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING.......... "G" Fe2k
