Hey all, in each of your opinion, what plastic articulators give you great results with the greatest ease of set up? We currently use "artimax" articulators and were looking to find something possibly more efficient. Just tell me what you like, and please, nobody dog what someone else uses. Depends on the case. We use Artimax for triple trays, and we use regular slotted Vertix for the cases we pin. Anything without a posterior stop goes on metal, as I have never found a plastic one I like.

for efficiency I like the monotrac system. decently accurate, and way easy! I've tried artimax and W.O.W. and they don't compare to monotrac.

I have been using Artimax, and tried monotrac myself a few weeks ago. I easily could have liked the monotrac system, it seemed really clean and presentable...However, there was only one down side (and this is a personal preference)... Linda, we just received our trial pack of monotracs. They look like they make a lot of sense, but monotrac also looks like they make a lot of money;) My girl that does our model work is going to try them out, and if she's clocking out at 2:00,.........who knows, might be worth it;)

@Linda-the 4 trial articulators they sent didn't make much of a dent in her day;) However, she DID like them and said they're as easy as it gets, and they did look great and seem to be firm and pretty accurate. If we make the transition to the monotrac, I'll make sure she's out by 2;)

I use Artimax as well, and have not found anything else that is as accurate and easy to use. It would be nice to find something similar that is less expensive,but if it ain't broke don't fix it.

. . .i still like the Vertex system . . .I agree there is room for error , but they are Simple ,and pretty quick , and they look good . . in any straight line articulator there is going to be 'room' for error

Have you guys tried our system? It's plastic, but reusable. Glueless, clicks on and off for easy scanning and readjustable so wrong articulation can be corrected on the fly.

Being a system, with molds, articulators and sleeves (tips) you can reuse or replace, we offer a starter kit you can buy for very little money. If you don't like it, send it back for refund. That hasn't happened yet :)
