If . . . there was a recipe book for 'Solid/Full Contour Zirconia' that showed paint by number, step by step, color pics, for every shade on the Classical & 3D Vita Shade guides, on how to take green state zr and make it esthetic, . . . Would you be interested?

Ready for the Next Big Thing!
Robert S Wisler CDT - Owned and operated Alpha Dental Studio in Michigan, a Certified Dental Laboratory, for 30 years. He graduated from Ferris State University's Dental Technology program in '79 and became a CDT in '82. He spent the first 10 years of his career as an 'In-House' technician for three general dentists that specialized in crown and bridge and implants. During this time, specific techniques were developed, through the use of microscopes, chair side assistance and a meticulous attention to detail, to allow for precision restorations to be placed predictably. Alpha's success was achieved with a staff of 15 in a state-of-the-art Kavo and CAD/CAM equipped laboratory. Each technician was PTC trained and fabricated each restoration using magnification. Excellent fit, function and aesthetics and the ability for Drs. to use the labs fully functional dental operatory were the hallmark of Alpha's reputation for implants and veneers. Robert is a student of occlusion based in the OBI and Kois disciplines; a member of the AACD, AAIP, Lab Consultant for The Dental Advisor and he has enhanced quality systems in the lab through DAMAS and ISO certifications. A foundation of dentist/technician communication and microscopically fabricated restorations differentiated his Drs experiences to something exceptional. Promoting continuing education for his technical team, hosting seminars for dentists, writing articles, lecturing around the country and speaking to students at local dental schools, allows Robert to share his passion for excellence in Dental Technology. During the last two years, Robert has had the opportunity to teach and train a large technical team in China. Consistent production was achieved through the development of a Quality Control checklist in each department, enforcement of specific protocols and education as to the importance of quality materials and their proper uses. A philosophy of; 1) Remember it's the Patient that we serve. 2) Make the Drs experience a memorable one. 3) Produce restorations that you are proud of. 4) You make your reputation every day. 5) Give God the Glory. All go to create a winning strategy in each situations!
Robert and his wife Tara currently reside in Cave Creek, Arizona with their 3 children, Maddi, Hudson & Carson.

Ok, it does exist. We showed it in Chicago to companies like Origin, CAP, Diadem and SageMax. The question is how do you market it? What would you pay for it? Its a training manual for finishing, coloring and glazing solid Z.

Robert, Is this your system or some other company's? Give us a hint of how it works. Each Zr accepts stain in the green stage differently, how many have you experimented with?

I was put to the task of developing a Bruxzir alternative. Glidewell has done a fantastic job of creating a brand awareness that Drs ask for by name. I experimented with the most transleucent zr types that I could find. I settled on one and built the system around a set of green state dyes and that zr brand. Certainly the challenge is to create a vital occlusal or incisal. We actually did anterior...See more
