Dentsply International recently donated over $450,000 to the New York University College of Dentistry (NYUCD) to promote research in implant dentistry. Dentsply's gift will be used to further the mission of NYUCD's implant program, which was the first dental school in the U.S. to teach implant dentistry to pre-doctoral students.
"The NYU College of Dentistry's reputation as a national and international leader in implant dentistry rests on the clinical research it conducts, research that is made possible by the generosity of major benefactors," says NYUCD Dean Charles Bertolami.
