Digital System, Lava Materials Launched at Jensen Education Day
At Jensen's 17th annual Education Day at the Swissôtel, the company launched a digital system ideal for small- to mid-sized laboratories that includes the Jensen ST II scanner, Lava™ Design 7 Software, Jensen mill and DEKEMA baSIC Sintering Furnace. In the show's Digital Café area, attendees had the opportunity to test drive the scanner and software.
The company also launched its new Jensen Digital Materials: High Translucency and High Strength Zirconia in frame configurations compatible with all Jensen mills. As the exclusive U.S. distributor for all 3M™ ESPE™ Lava™ products, it also announced two new Lava materials: Lava Plus high translucency zirconia and Lava Ultimate Implant Crown Restorative, a resin nano ceramic that uses nanotechnology for increased wear resistance, compressive strength and resiliency.
The bustling event attracted nearly 600 laboratory owners, managers and technicians and featured lectures on digital technology, esthetics and materials from top names in the field, including Don Cornell; Andreas Nolte, MDT; Dr. Dennis Fasbinder; Greg Harris; Otto Prandtner, MDT; Mike Gorshe; Peter Pizzi, CDT, MDT; and Thomas Singh, MDT. More than a dozen talented technicians also held intimate table clinics, sharing their tips on customizing full contour zirconia, esthetics, layering, digital scanning and design and more.
Jensen's 2013 Education Day will be held February 22, again at the Swissôtel. For more information, watch www.jensendental.com.
