Eddie Corrales

Eddie Corrales is a graduate of the Dental Technology Institute and opened his state-of-the-art lab, Downtown Dental Designs, in San Diego in 1997. Unique in his approach, Corrales seeks the perfect smile by creating a completely natural restoration, precisely tailored to each smile he designs. He is an LVI and PAC-Live graduate, and is currently working with the Scottsdale Center for Dentistry in Arizona, sharing his knowledge in CAD/CAM technology. His lab is part of the CEREC Connect Network.

Barry Diener

Barry Diener is presenting on behalf of Sirona Dental Systems, LLC.

Russell Giordano

Dr. Russell Giordano, DMD, DMSc, FADM, is an associate professor and director of biomaterials in the Department of Restorative Dentistry/Biomaterials at the Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine. He is a fellow of the Academy of Dental Materials and has been actively involved in ceramic materials development and CAD/CAM systems at MIT, Harvard and Boston University. He currently serves on the editorial board of the Massachusetts Dental Society, JDT, Spectrum and Journal of Dentistry.

Patrick Lee

Patrick Lee has over 25 years of experience in crown and bridge, specializing in all-ceramic restorations with 3-D CAD/CAM technology. His expertise in creating vital, all-ceramic restorations has made him a popular educator, especially in areas of Vident YZ and Ivoclar IPS e.max. A Minnesota lab owner for 20 years, Lee is widely recognized for his experience conducting demonstration table clinics, as well as lecturing on the Sirona CEREC® System.

Bill Mrazek

Bill Mrazek, BS, CDT, owns Mrazek Prosthodontics, Ltd., a small high-end laboratory in Naperville, IL. He holds a BS degree in Biology from the University of Illinois, and an AS degree in Dental Technology. In addition to his 30 years of experience in the field, he is a regular contributor to LMT, and is on the editorial boards of PPAD and Collaborative Techniques.

Thomas Nieting

Thomas Nieting, CDT, is the technical marketing manager for CAD/CAM Lab Applications at Sirona Dental Systems, LLC. Prior to joining Sirona, he was the general manager of a 50-person, full service laboratory. He focuses on laboratory management and marketing, as well as CAD/CAM systems and has been instrumental in the beta testing of Sirona inLab. Nieting is a speaker at dental meetings across the U.S., has contributed to and authored articles in various dental publications, and acts as a business consultant on product development.

Chad Rogers

Chad Rogers, technical director at Professional Dental Lab Corp. in Elkhart, IN, has been involved with obstructive sleep apnea and trained laboratories throughout the country on fabrication, theory and design of the Oasys™ and TAP® appliances. Since 2005, he’s concentrated his technical knowledge and expertise on CAD/CAM, helping to make Professional Dental Lab the second producer of CEREC restorations in the state. He also offers CEREC training to local specialists.

Norbert Ulmer

Norbert Ulmer, MBA, is co-founder of Dentatrust, which specializes in digital dentistry and consulting services. Previously, he worked for Sirona Dental Systems for 10 years and was instrumental in the development, introduction and growth of CEREC inLab, infiniDent and CEREC Connect. Ulmer serves on the ADA Standards Committee on Dental Products, Ad Hoc Group on CAD/CAM Dentistry, as well as JDT’s Communications Advisory Board.

Jeff Youngerman

Jeff Youngerman, CDT, is the southwest territory manager for Sirona Dental Systems, LLC. After graduating from the Simi Valley School of Dental Technology, he worked as a C&B technician and then for Leach and Dillon Alloys/The Argen Corp. for 10 years, gaining extensive knowledge of alloys and all-ceramic systems. He joined Sirona in 2005, where he trains and helps labs implement CAD/CAM technology and lectures on CAD/CAM applications around the country.
