Love the work and cases I do everyday for the past 43 years
I have been a dental laboratory technician for 43 years and a laboratory owner for 33 yrs. I was taught this trade when I joined the US Navy(1968). I attended basic and advanced lab schools in San Diego (1968,1970). While at my last duty station at the Naval Shipyard, Bremerton Washington, I attended Olympic Comunnity College at night (1970-1972) and received my AA degree. Upon getting out of the Navy (1972) I received a full scholarship to Cal State Univ. @ Fullerton. In 1974 I received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Kineciology (the study of the principles of mechanics and anatomy in relation to human movement) and worked part time for a friend in his dental lab. I won the NCAA National Decathlon Championship Division II in 1973 and 1974. I continued my education and recieved my Masters in Education in 1976. From 1976-1980 I was Dr.Cary Halpin and Dr. James Weaver's ( professor's at Univ.of Wash. Dental School) in-house technician. Boy, did I learn alot from them and the dental school during that period. In 1980 I started Aesthetic Dental Creations and have been going ever since
