He completed the postgraduate...See more ceramics course at the Tokai Dental Technicians School in 1986. He received the "Young Speaker of the Year Award" presented by Dr. John McLean, OBE, of the International Society for Dental Ceramics in 1989. In 1992, Mr. Willi Geller selected Mr. Aiba to be a member of Oral Design. He has lectured, conducted handson courses, and published in more than 30 countries on ceramics, dental photography, and dentistlaboratory communications. He has published and exhibited his photographs around the world. Mr. Aiba currently serves as a member of the editorial board for Quintessence Dental Technology (QDT) and the AACD Journal of Cosmetic Dentistry (JCD), and as a technical advisory board member of the MontereyBay Salinas Study Club. He maintains his laboratory, Science Art, Inc., in Monterey, California. He is the founder of the Oral Design Center Monterey, where he offers the DENTSCAPE Continuum, the comprehensive twoyear ceramic handson program, designed for experienced dental technicians.
