I am a 3 person high esthetic lab in Janesville Wisconsin and I have y own milling center now because i was tired of relying on what zirconia milling centers were using. I used and tested alot. Feed...See more back from my dentists and the other labs i mill for now I have kept 2 types. I use Zirlux and Katana ML. The Katana is great for anteriors or restorations in the esthetic zone. I also love that the zirconia is shaded through so there will never be any white spots if adjustment need to be made!
Anyone have experience with this type of restoration? Patient needs a crown on #9 and has a quarter carat diamond he wants set in it. Dentist is comfortable with material of choice. Anyone ever set a diamond before? Please share ideas! Thinking PFM cast with a setting in the facial, building crown...
I have one in my lab as we speak! I just waxed up the crown full contour around the diamond and pressed it to the diamond. I did tell the Dr. before fabricating that it would not warrented!
