The Next US Dental Laboratory Industry
There's always a lot of great technical talk here, but I would love to participate in some conversation about the trends taking place in the industry and how they affect us. I started Dale Dental 12 years ago as a way for labs to get access to the restorations they needed to grow their business. To me however, Dale was...

Snoring/sleeping appliances
Does anyone know of courses for techs/specific training on the various sleeping appliances? Our lab is contemplating getting into them as we have a great opportunity to capture a ton of the business in this region with some upcoming educational partnering we are doing.

American Entrepenuership
This unique rendition of the American flag was painted on the front lawn of a home in my neighborhood. It's in honor of the many employees the home owner lost when the World Trade Center towers collapsed. I thought you'd all enjoy seeing this creative tribute since we're about to celebrate our nation's independence....

OwnerIndustry Regulations
A few more states are (most likely) on their way to imposing certain regulations on our industry - everything from disclosure statements on materials and their origin to reinstating the mandation of training and lab registration. Do you live in one of these states? What's your opinion? Curious to hear what the front-line truly feels.

Is anyone out there using impression scanning at their lab and how are the models coming out? Which system? Models printed or milled? Have you compared them to the same impression poured by your traditional method? Can anyone verify if it is really saving them time and/or money?
