Whip Mix recently signed a partnership agreement with DDME for exclusive global distribution of a home monitoring system and oral appliance to address bruxism and airway issues in the dental market. When the dentist notices excess grinding or bruxism on the patient’s teeth, along with other signs, he will be able to send the patient home with a monitoring system that will measure sleep patterns, airway, bruxism, snoring, and sleep apnea. Depending upon the results of this sleep test, the dentist may then refer the patient to a sleep physician or make a short-term appliance to see if the appliance will improve the bruxism and airway for that patient. Along with products, DDME brings experienced sleep technicians and a physician’s referral network as part of the system.
For more information, call DDME at 800-513-9337 or visit www.whipmix.com.

The Journal of Dental Technology has just recognized our VP of Sales and Marketing, Anne Steinbock, as someone "Who's Hot" in 2014. I hope you pick up the publication to read the article which highlights how Anne grew up in the Whip Mix business (her grandfather is our founder), but chose architecture to study. Because Anne likes faster results and personal contact with her customers, she came back to her family business, where she's been for over 25 years.
If you know Anne, you know that she's family-oriented, customer driven and passionate about making the dental industry better. As a proud Louisville native, she loves giving back to her community through programs such as the Give Kids a Smile event.
