This is just me venting.. (in hopes of gaining manufacturers attention). It really frustrates me to know...See more that all major implant companies and non associated milling centers are heavily advertising "Custom Abutments". We do 100% percent of our implant restorations using custom made prosthesis, with 90% of them being screw retained. What irritates me is that when I design my custom screw retained abutment and scan or send it out to be scan (depending on the implant), I sometimes get a message from the manufacturer saying unable to mill due to "milling limitations", "insufficient block size", "restoration does not fit within our milling parameters". Again Most implant companies are pushing custom made abutments and more so screw retained crowns. So why not make your milling blocks BIGGER?
I wouldn't probably get an explanation other that "We're working on it"...... — tagged Abutments
I milled my first full contour InCoris TZI zirconia crown. My issue is staining the crown before sintering....See more The finished product looks dead and exactly like zirconia. I have used both the brush on and dipping technique and still come out with the same chiclet effect. What can I do to become closer to the color I'm trying to achieve wihout staining it several times?? — tagged inCoris™ TZI and Milling
