Lava DVS (Digital Veneering System) has been developed to reduce cost and labor. When designing Lava DVS we design a full contour restoration. Once complete, with a click of a button, we can extract two files. One is an ideal coping design and the second is a full contour design that fits over the coping. The two files are milled.The coping is milled using Lava zircona and the top is milled form feldspathic porcelain. The lava coping is sintered, finished and then the two components are assembles and fired. Lava DVS provides a nearly completed Lava restoration saving 80% of the labor involved in the ceramic phase.
