Its patented two-channel temperature measuring system reads two visible wavelengths of light for temperature control and the proper casting moment, while the new lens position filters out characteristics such as oxidation and reflection. NautiCard software allows a memory log of up to 640 castings that can be transferred to a PC for future casting diagnosis, transmitted to BEGO for analysis or integrated with a printer for quality assurance. The unit's split-crucible design allows for passive alloy flow, promoting strong, dense castings for a wide spectrum of alloys (except beryllium or titanium).
