Well folks, we did it, we pulled off the launch of the Digital Study Club on April 25th. Let me say on behalf of the entire CAP team that it was a tremendous pleasure connecting with you all! We would like to extend our sincerest appreciation for your participation. We hope that you found this first venture as enlightening and worthwhile as we did.
This Digital Study Club meeting was geared toward scanner systems, specifically 3Shape and Exocad. The pros and cons of each system were discussed and in-depth interpretations regarding performance and reliability were given by accomplished technicians.
To start, we had a brief introduction by Rob Nazzal, CEO of CAP. Rob conveyed his excitement to be at the beginning of this educational journey with such prominent members of the dental lab community. Rob Nazzal is the CEO of Custom Automated Prosthetics (CAP). Prior to CAP, he built the laboratory division of Brontes Technologies that was acquired by 3M and became the Lava C.O.S digital impression system. Nazzal has a degree in Computer Science from Cornell University and has extensive background in creating and commercializing new technologies.
