The restorative dentist removes the healing cap from the dental implant, places a Mono Scanbody and takes a digital impression. The healing cap results in a perfect 360° circle of the soft tissue and the technician determines where to place the cement finish line on the customized abutment. By providing a temporary healing abutment or crown prior to fabricating the final restoration, there is no guesswork with predictable soft tissue results because the proper emergence profile was created.
