Which zirconia sintering ovens do you recommend? Anyone have experience with the Sintra by Shenpaz? I need another oven, and as i saw in IDS, there are so many available today.

Does anyone out there care to share their thoughts on Vita porcelain or denture teeth? We are a production lab, and currently using Mondial teeth and Noritake EX-3 & CZR porcelains. Most interested in how Vita's porcelains handle in a production environment, compared to Noritake.

. . .Daxton , I can't comment on production , But Vita is a good all round porcelain, with "Good results & color ! Take care ! Patrick!

I used both vita and EX-3, and I can tell you from experience that the noritake porcelain is a lot easier to handle and stack. I have a complete Vita VMK master kit that I used for about 8 units, I can sell it at deeply discounted price if you would like to experiment with it, Sherif

I have to agree with Shariff.... Vita is a bit more sensitive when it comes to handling.

I've used EX-3, Creation, Shofu, Avante, etc.. for the past thirteen years. I've been exclusively using Vita's VM13 and VM9 for eight years now. I feel it's the most life like, and easiest to manipulate. They show a two powder build for anterior and posterior that looks decent for what it is. I usually do a nine powder posterior that can be done rather efficiently. No porosity, heat tears, nothing....See more

We have used Vita for years Omega 900 and loved the color and ease of use but when they changed to Vm13 it was very hard to use as a production porcelain. Great life like color but very technique sensitive. We switched to Noritake Ex-3 love it.

Is anyone out there working with Zirlux? Zahn claims that the Schein clinical reps will be marketing this product very heavily to all their accounts. Initially, I heard there were some shade issues in these pre-shaded blocks, primarily in the darker shades. They say they just came out with a solution though.

“Sponsoring continuing education programs can have a significant impact on client retention and acquisition, customer engagement, cross selling and business growth. I advise laboratories to look at continuing education as an investment in marketing rather than as a short-term profit center.” – Mark Murphy, Denmar LLC

Hi Daxton, I can't recommend an oven to you, but I wanted to let you know that LMT's April product focus is on porcelain and sintering furnaces. The issue mails on April 15. Be on the lookout!
