I've been in dentistry for 38 years, I was a dental assistant for 5 years and a lab tech for 34 years, I love my work.

I've been involved in dentistry for 38 plus years. I was a dental assistant for various types of dentists from general to orthodontic to oral surgeons. I began interning at an inhouse dental lab, I really fell in love with the field of dental lab technology, it seemed to encompass my love of mechanics, art, and science. I was destined to do this work. I started the dental laboratory program at Dutchess Comunity College in 1977 and graduated with an AAS degree and was a recognized graduate and eventually became a Certified Dental Lab Tech . In 1979 I opened Hudson Valley Dental Lab. I incorporated in 1982. Hudson Valley Dental Prosthetics, Inc. is mainly a denture lab, we do partial dentures, implant overdentures, night guards. When I'm not chained to my bench I do kyaking, biking, hiking and grab fun whenever I can. In all I love my work and can't think of anyother field I'd enjoy more.
