Ernest Caragol, CDT Mr. Caragol received his Dental Technology degree from Triton College, River Grove, IL in 1976 and became a Certified Dental Technician (CDT) in 1980, in Ceramics, Crown and Bridge...See more and Complete Dentures. He is celebrating his 36th anniversary as a Certified Dental Technician. He has been the laboratory manager at Georgia Dental Laboratory, (GDL) in Tucker Georgia since 1998. At GDL, the NADL Laboratory of the year, he is dedicated to continuing education, serves as the Safety Coordinator, and as DAMAS Quality Representative. Mr. Caragol has also completed courses at the Pankey Institute in Key Biscayne, Florida and the Peter E. Dawson DDS Center for Advanced Dental Studies in St. Petersburg, Florida and has presented at numerous study groups and the Hinman Dental Meeting in the area of implant overdentures. He also served as an advisor to the Dental Technician Board of Certification, volunteering his time to review and maintain the certification curriculum and tests. He has published articles in Spectrum and in Ivoclar Vivadent magazines. Mr. Caragol is a resident of Dunwoody with his wife, Laura where he is an active member of his community. His hobbies include cooking, golf, traveling, and spending time with his family.
