3DRPD has developed a new additive manufacturing process based on laser technology for fabricating RPD metal frameworks quickly with precision. Dr. Hesham Nouh reviews the traditional RPD workflow, the pitfalls of casting and the CAD/CAM approach for fabricating frameworks (SLM). He also covers the workflow for 3D-printed frameworks, studies on alloy flexibility and durability, and patient testimony about conventional vs. 3D-printed.
